摘要：An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for sending an IPpacket. The method includes: acquiring, an IP address and a MAC address of a firstnetwork element; sending, the IP address to generate a first table entry; sending, the IPaddress and the MAC address to generate a second table entry; advertising, a routingmessage; receiving a first IP packet; forwarding, the first IP packet. An embodiment of thepresent disclosure further provides a corresponding device. According to the methodand the device, a local device communicates with a remote device via a router; there is noneed for the router to discover the local device via a routing protocol and dynamicallyestablish and maintain the destination IP address in the routing forward table, as a tableentry of the local device, thereby reducing the overhead of the router.
