I. Lead in
Let students play a guessing game to present the topic---pandas.
II. New words
a. Asks Ss why they like pandas and if they know something about
pandas. Then show some pictures and sentences to learn the new
words.
b. Show the new words, match them with their Chinese meaning.
Read the words together, try to remember them.
III. Reading.
a. Listen and answer the questions.
b. Read the passage and match the headings with each paragraph.
c. Read again and answer the questions.
d. Show some language points in the passage
e. Exercises 3 and 4 in the book.
IV. Writing
a. Enjoy some pictures of endangered animals.
b. Choose an animal in danger and answer the questions
c. Write a passage about an animal in danger.
